USC Academic Review and Retention Office
General Information
The Office of Academic Review and Retention (ARR) advises students on academic probation, supports students who are at-risk of academic probation (2.0-2.3 GPA), and helps students navigate the readmission process. ARR works collaboratively with all university advisors, faculty, and offices to ensure academic success for students and to promote graduation.
Mission Statement
The USC Office of Academic Review and Retention is committed to promoting strategic partnerships with key constituents across campus, monitoring individual student progress, and inspiring each student to reach his/her full academic potential. We serve students at-risk of academic probation, students on academic probation, former students who were academically disqualified and are seeking readmission, and readmitted students. Our office is committed to empowering students to persist towards graduation.
The Academic Review and Retention Office is located in the lobby of the Figueroa Building, Suite 107 (FIG 107).
Hours of Operation: 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday – Friday
* Walk-in hours are available 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., Monday - Friday.
**Scheduled appointments are preferred, to avoid delays in service. All intake appointments are by scheduled appointment only.
