Transfer Tools

Whether you are transferring from a California community college or a four-year college, the following resources will help you determine which courses and credits will transfer to USC.

Maintained by the USC Articulation Office, the Interactive Planning Guide will help you determine which undergraduate courses at your current institution will satisfy USC’s General Education or Core requirements, or fulfill lower-division coursework required for your intended major.

In this section:

Articulation Agreements: Community Colleges

Articulation agreements are formal lists of California community college courses that will be accepted for transfer credit.

Articulation Histories: Four-Year Schools

Articulation histories are informal lists of four-year college courses that have been accepted for transfer credit in the past. If a course does not appear in the list, it has not been reviewed and may or may not transfer.
